We Need More and Better Leaders. We need YOU!
With activist threats to our dairy operations, looming statewide, we face crises on multiple fronts. For decades, while most of us paid no attention, these activists who seek to destroy our way of life have focused on getting elected to town and county boards to carry out their agenda. We can’t sit idly by while they continue to do this —the only way forward is for more leaders to step up, organize and run for local office.
Take a moment and think about how tough it is explaining all of the good things you do to care for the environment and support the state’s economy, and still, you are portrayed as the villain by the media and anti-farm activists (many of which sit on your county boards). You or someone from your dairy operation is uniquely qualified to stand up for this cause and time is running out to get involved.
By running for office, you’ll be taking a stand for your cause in an entirely new way, and at scale. Where do you start? Take a moment to review the County Board Election Quick Guide as well as the forms below and the info you need to get on the upcoming ballot. After that, it’s just a matter of time before common sense is brought back to local government units across Wisconsin.
You have until January 4th at 5:00 pm to get in your paperwork to get on the ballot!
Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions as you contemplate a potential run. We are here to support you!
